Developed in collaboration with Studio 3089 in Venice, Italy and MAD Architects, Beijing, PRC
The solo exhibition “MADe in China” ran between september 8-30, 2006 at the Sant’Apollonia Cloister in Venice during the Architecture Biennale.
The exhibition presented the early visionary works of the Beijing-based architecture firm MAD. 12 works were showcased with boards, physical models and videos.
I was in charge of the event which included finding a suitable location, setting the exhibition design and organizing all administrative tasks (permits, press communication, advertisement, inaugural party).
The exhibition was the first architecture exhibition to be hosted in that venue and it turned out to be very successful. The inaugural party took place in the outdoor space of the cloister.
